Use it for corn tortillas, flour tortillas, handmade tortillas, tostadas, or warm bread. Simply line the inside with a clean cloth or servilleta, add your warm tortillas, and cover with the lid.
And it doesn’t have to be used only as a tortillero! When you’re not serving tortillas, it can also be used for pan dulce, dinner rolls, pastries, chips, tostadas, cookies, or other dry foods when entertaining.
Care Instructions:
Hand wash gently after use and avoid leaving liquids or wet foods inside for extended periods. Allow both the base and lid to dry completely before storing or placing the lid back on.
Each tortillero is individually handmade and traditionally fired, so variations in shape, clay tone, texture, carvings, and smoky or dark markings are completely natural. Those beautiful darker areas are not defects—they are part of the firing process and make every tortillero truly one of a kind.
